Townhouse Moving in Brighton
Townhouse moving in Brighton often means a front door on one side, a garage on the other, and stairs in between. We plan which door the crew uses, where the truck waits, and how big pieces make the turns.

Rear garages are a big part of townhouse moving in Brighton. Pulte lists a floor plan with a rear-entry two-car garage and alley access at West Village of Brighton, its 107-townhome community on the former Lindbom Elementary site at 1010 State St. Brighton Square, 85 townhouses approved in 2019 at Flint Road and Temple Street, was also planned with garages in back and fronts facing the road.
That layout raises a simple question. A truck in the alley is close to the garage, while a truck out front is close to the door, and your stairs may favor one. We would walk both routes first. Ask your association whether trucks may stop in the alley at all.

Three floors, one dresser
The larger Brighton Square units were described as three stories when they were approved. In a home like that, a dresser can climb two flights and turn at every landing. We pad banisters, protect walls at the turns, and plan carries to cut down on trips.
The order of the rooms matters as much as the muscle. Tell us which floor holds the heaviest pieces and how the stairs turn. There are no stair fees or access surcharges, so three floors does not change the rule: what we quote is what you pay.

One home in five, sharing walls
One in five city homes was a townhome or attached condo in 2015, before these newer projects. In a row of attached homes, shared walls and shared drives mean your move is part of your neighbors' morning too, so a heads-up helps.
Guest spots can go fast. Brighton Square's plan called for 210 parking spaces, about 2.5 per townhouse. We plan truck position ahead of time to limit the disruption, and we pay extra attention to narrow entryways and attached walls once we are inside.

Brighton Moving FAQs
Ask your association, since it sets the rules for its community. Once you know, we would plan the truck position around that answer and the location of your stairs.

We would measure it against the stairwell and the landing first. If it comes apart, disassembly and reassembly are part of the service, and the banisters and walls get padded either way.
